The Castle rises in an elevated position dominating all the lake, the surrounding countryside and the whole town of Bracciano. Due to its structural and architectonic characteristics and the excellent state of conservation is considered one of the most important and finest castles of Italy. It was built by Napoleone Orsini (1470-1485) and among its most famous guests have been the king of France Charles VIII, Pope Sixtus IV and Marcantonio Colonna.

Castle Odescalchi has hosted the wedding of famous Martin Scorsese with Isabella Rosellini and lately, during November 2006, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding. Famous Italian designer Giorgio Armani personally designed the bride and groom’s attire. The five-tiered chocolate wedding cake was covered in handmade chocolate roses and the groom serenaded his bride with “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling”.

Select flowers for your Wedding Reception or Gala Dinner that are in season. This will keep costs down and you will know that flowers will be freshest they can be on the day.
For Wedding Receptions, unless flowers are your wedding theme, then use the flowers to complement your wedding rather than overpower it. Stick to subtle colours that complement what your are wearing and avoid floral arrangements of many colours and many differends kinds of flowers. Check that your flowers will withstand the climate on your wedding day: if your flowers look fresh you will too.
